When to book your bridal mehndi
Three months is comfortable. Peak season asks for more.

Bridal work is one artist, one pair of hands, one booking a day. Between May and October, and around Eid, dates go early — three to six months ahead is usual for a Saturday.
Which day to have your mehndi
The mehndi itself is best held two days before the wedding, so the stain reaches its darkest on the day you are photographed. One day is workable; the same morning rarely is.
How long the session takes
Full bridal mehndi — hands, feet and forearms — takes five to six hours. Semi bridal is around two hours. Plan the day around it: eat beforehand, and have someone with you, because once the paste is on you will not be using your hands for a while.
What to bring to the consultation
The booking opens with a conversation, at the studio or by video. Bring photographs of your outfit and jewellery, any designs you have saved, and the names, dates or motifs you want worked in. A drawn proposal follows before the day, refined once, so nothing is decided with a cone in hand.
If your date is close
If your date is close, ask anyway. Cancellations happen, and a smaller design can often be fitted around an existing booking.
