The one night of the year the studio works until the morning.
Chaand Raat sittings are quick by necessity — a family arrives, everyone is drawn, and the stain has until sunrise to deepen. Designs are lighter than bridal work: trailing vines up one finger, an open mandala on the back of the hand, borders that finish at the wrist.
Book the week before. The night itself is always full.

When should we book for Eid?
A week or two before Chaand Raat. The last two nights fill first.
Do you come to the house on Chaand Raat?
Yes, most Eid bookings are at home. A table, a chair and good light is all we need.
Will it be dark by the morning?
If the paste stays on a few hours and the hands are oiled rather than washed, yes — orange at night, brown by Eid morning.
