Children's henna
Small, quick designs for birthdays, school fairs and family parties.
Children’s designs are kept small and simple — a flower on the back of the hand, a vine up one finger, a little mandala — so they are finished before anyone gets restless. Every one is drawn freehand in the same organic henna used for bridal work.
The cones are mixed in the studio from henna powder, lemon, sugar and essential oils. Never black henna, which is not safe for anyone. Birthday parties and school fairs are quoted by the hours and the number of children, so you know the cost before the day.

Simple designs

Parties
Around ten to fifteen small designs an hour. Tell us how many children and we will plan the time.
School fairs
A henna table for the afternoon, booked in a block and quoted by the hour.
Is henna safe for children?
Natural henna is — ours is mixed from henna powder, lemon, sugar and essential oils only. If your child has sensitive skin or any allergies, tell us when you book and we will talk it through. We never use black henna.
How long will it last?
Usually one to three weeks. It starts orange and darkens over two days; keep it dry for the rest of the day for the best colour.
How much is a children’s henna party?
Single designs start at £10. Parties are quoted by the hours and the number of children, agreed before the date.
